TERMS AND CONDITIONS
General
These terms and conditions apply to all transactions made through Shoe2boot online "the website" or any website owned by Shoe2boot "the company". They aim to set out clearly the company’s responsibility to you "the consumer" and the consumers obligation to the company. By purchasing from this site you agree to abide by the terms and conditions as set out below. Any deviation from these conditions must be agreed in writing prior to any purchase.
Whilst every effort is made to ensure all data on our sites is correct, there may inevitably be an occasional error. We reserve the rights to correct such errors without liability on our part. Such information is provided by us as reference only and forms no part of any binding contract.
We may at times provide links to external sites if, we believe they may be of use to our customers. These sites are not moderated by the company hence, no liability will be held for their content. Complaints regarding such sites should be directed to their owners.
Terms of Sale
All prices on the website are inclusive of UK VAT and exclusive of shipping or handling charges. Shipping charges if applicable, will be added at the checkout stage. All transactions will be in sterling (GBP) and will use the rate of exchange on the day of purchase. We will ship worldwide, although sales outside the UK may incur additional carriage charge. More information regarding current delivery charges can be found on our site.
Customs charges remain the responsibility of the consumer and, the company accepts no liability for orders being held in customs. We will also offer no form of refund upon such an event occurring. You should make sure no charges need paying before placing your order and we recommend that you contact your local customs officials if you are unsure.
All descriptions, images and prices are quoted for reference purposes only and, are subject to change without notice. Whilst every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of our website occasionally mistakes do occur. If we discover a mistake in your order, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the chance to amend your order or cancel it. If we cancel your order after payment has been taken a full refund will be issued via your original method of payment. However, if you are a cash, cheque or postal order payer, please be aware refunds will be issued by cheque only. If we are unable to contact you, after 24 hours we will automatically cancel your order on the next working day.
By placing an order on the website you are expressing your wish to enter into a binding contract with the company. The order remains subject to confirmation by us. Acceptance of such a contract by the company is not made until you receive an email confirming your order has been dispatched. This confirmation email will contain details of all items covered by the contract. Only items listed in the email contract will be shipped.
Ownership of all goods shall remain with the company until they are fully paid for. The responsibility for the goods will however remain with the company until delivery of the goods. After this time the company will accept no liability for loss or damage to the goods except as stated in section 5.
Payment
Payment may be made by any means stated on the website at the time of purchase. All electronic payments are made through our secure payment gateway. Your order will be dispatched only once payment is received and confirmed cleared. Payment by non electronic means such as cheque, may hold up your order as we will not dispatch until payment is cleared.
We aim to dispatch all orders by the next working day, from the time at which payment is received. However this is not always possible, especially during busy periods such as the run up to Christmas. Delivery is usually via royal mail first class unless stated otherwise. Whilst most orders are received within five working days from the day of purchase, we provide no guarantee for this. We expect all orders to be completed within 21 calender days, unless you have been advised otherwise at the time of purchase, after this length of tiem the order will be cancelled.
Data Protection
All data shall be obtained and kept in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. No information shall be passed on to a third party for the purpose of marketing however, we may from time to time use any data we collect to inform you via telephone, e-mail or post of any products or offers the company think you may be interested in. You may choose to have your details removed from our list by contacting us at the address below.
We reserve the rights to pass details on to a credit checking agency prior to any contract being formed. Based on the results of such checks, we may choose to cancel your order or, impose certain restrictions. We will also pass on information to credit checking agencies of any customer failing to satisfy the contract. We will always pass on any data when required to by a court of law or other authorised body.
Returns
We are happy to offer a full refund on the cost of the item within 14 working days of receipt, when returned in an original new and unused condition. All items must be tried on for size and fit only, on a carpeted surface to prevent marking the soles. Items returned which appear to not be in a new and unused condition, cannot be refunded and it will be the consumers responsibility to have them returned to themselves. We will not however refund postage costs either original or return except where stated below. Remember, the responsibility of the goods remains with the consumer until we receive them so, we do strongly recommend any returns are made using a traceable delivery service. If you believe an item to be faulty, please contact us prior to return and within 24 hours of receipt. We will then give you further instructions regarding the items return. If, once returned we verify the fault, we will issue a full refund for the cost of the item and the postage costs. The return of faulty goods without prior contact, will hold up the returns procedure and, could lead to the claim being rejected.
If you wish to return your item for refund please email us at shoe2boot@btconnect.com quoting your full name and order number. Please then return the item to: I.J.Leisurewear, Units 7 & 8, Sherrington Mews, Selsey, West Sussex, PO20 0FJ. Please ensure that you put a note in with the returned item, stating your name, order number and reason for return. Returned items with no details will not be processed and no refund can be issued for the item.
If you require a different size after your item has arrived with you, you will be required to return your item following the returns policy outlined above. Any new sizes required will then need to be purchased in the normal way through our website and will be subject to availability. Postage costs will not be refunded for this as we will have carried out the service to you and fulfilled our obligations. Your item will be thoroughly checked before dispatch but, if we have sent the wrong item or size to you, a full refund will be offered including the re-imbursement of the return postage costs, as we would never expect a customer to be out of pocket over something that is our mistake.
Cancellations
Cancellations or amendments to your order are allowable until the point at which you receive your dispatch confirmation email. At this point your order has been frozen and cannot be changed. Whilst every effort is made to ensure order amendments are made, we make no guarantee that this will be the case. Any changes you wish to make to your order after the confirmation email has been sent may be done in line with our returns policy.

Discounted items will be marked relative to their original selling price and, may have undergone multiple price changes previously. The company will not be liable for the delay of processing or loss of goods due to reasons beyond our control. These include but not exclusively, strikes, force majeure, war, riot and acts of terrorism.
